Product Spotlight: new stencil by Studio Light

img_0657Hi there Polkadot!

Time to get out your markers!

Look at this texture…

Yum yum 🙂 This is Rangers texture paste on watercolor paper.  Because the stencil is made out of rather thick plastic, you can create great texture.  Perfect for coloring.  I took out all of my pink distress markers, but I ended up only using tattered rose and worn lipstick.  For the leaves I used shabby shutters and pealed paint.  I used peacock feathers for the dots and swirls.

There isn’t much of a technique here really.  You rub on the color on the raised texture of the paste, you sprinkle with a mini mister, and you repeat until you achieve the desired look.  The sentiment is part of the exclusive Cart ‘n Scrap Art clear stamps.
